20 year old French skier Faces Jail After Snowball Assault

The person threw a giant snowball from a chairlift in Alpe d’Huez that hit a man having lunch at a restaurant terrace below. UPDATED
The 61 year old man was hit on the head as he ate lunch with his grand-daughter – he sustained minor injuries and his glasses were broken.
The 20 year old posted a video of the incident on TikTok and has been tracked down by the authorities.
The video came with the words – ‘when you are considered a public danger’
The skier also shouted ‘bon appétit’ as he threw the snowball.
The creators insisted ‘we were absolutely not aiming for the man’s head’.
It is reported that he could face up to three years in prison if charged and found guilty.
The resort lift company has now taken legal action against the 20 year old.
