The British freeride snowboarder will be at the grand finale of the Freeride World Tour in Verbier later this month after making the cut for the prestigious event.
Cody Bramwell is one of just 7 male snowboarders who have earned the right to challenge for the ultimate prize of becoming the 2025 FWT Champion.
He is among 31 freeriders to have qualified for the final.
There are 11 snowboarders (4 female) and 20 skiers (13 male and 7 female).
The YETI Xtreme Verbier by Honda will take place in the Swiss resort during a weather window from 22 to 30 March.
Bramwell had a disappointing start to this season’s tour.
Given a wildcard to compete, he failed to score highly in the first three of five competitions – in Spain, France and Canada.

But he turned it around with victory in Georgia, closely followed by a second place in Austria.
With the three best scores from the five stops to count, Bramwell shot up the leaderboard to 3rd in the rankings.

There are 12,000 points up for grabs for the winner in Verbier, so it’s all to play for.
Bramwell finished 3rd overall in both 2021 and 2022 and will be hoping he can maintain his recent form to make the podium again in 2025.
Xtreme Verbier is one of the classic freeride competitions and traditionally hosts the grand finale of the FWT.

It was founded in 1996 as solely a snowboard contest by a Swiss-Brit, Nicolas Hale-Woods, who went on to set up the FWT.
He has been lobbying hard to get freeride skiing and snowboarding into the 2030 Winter Olympics.
