Learn to Ski Indoors in the UK this Summer

Snowsport England has announced the launch of the Way2Snow campaign. It aims to give people access to learn to ski or snowboard ahead of a first winter holiday.
The campaign aims to encourage more people to try skiing or snowboarding and make the sports more accessible through affordable lessons on real snow in centres across England.
Lessons are available at the real snow centres in Manchester, Tamworth and Hemel Hempstead, with options for beginners and families.
The campaign will also support snowsport charities.
Snowsport England is the national governing body for snowsports in England.
The Way2Snow initiative is a UK snowsports collaboration aimed at bringing new people into the world of skiing and snowboarding.
Businesses and organisations across the industry have joined Snowsport England to create the first national campaign of its kind:
- The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead,
- SnowDome in Tamworth,
- Chill Factore in Manchester,
- Ski Club of Great Britain,
- Disability Snowsport UK
- Snow Camp
The programme invites participants to learn to ski or snowboard at an indoor real snow facility, building up proficient skills to book their first ski holiday to the mountains next winter.
For just £299, adults will get 12 hours of tuition on real snow at the following indoor real snow facilities:

A reduced price of £249 is available for juniors aged 11-16.
There are also tailored sessions for those with disabilities and additional needs, available to book through Disability Snowsport UK.

On top of tuition, the Way2Snow package includes:
- Free ski/snowboard, boots and helmets with every lesson
- Exclusive savings on winter sports holidays with Neilson and Crystal Ski
- Exclusive discounts on equipment and clothing from Snow+Rock, Ellis Brigham and The Snowboard Asylum (TSA)
- Free Ski Club of Great Britain membership – including access to huge ski communities and year-round discounts
- Half price Snowsport England membership – with a huge number of benefits for those just starting out in snowsports
- Free tickets to the UK’s largest snow shows this autumn
A percentage of Way2Snow fees will go towards both Disability Snowsport UK and Snow Camp, a charity that helps young people turn their lives around through the power of snowsports.
“Snowsports are the perfect sport to try for fun, whatever your age or fitness level,” said the CEO of Snowsport England, James Arnold.
“Similar to the Couch to 5K programme, Way2Snow is specifically designed to take someone with little or no experience to a proficient level, guided by expert instructors at all three centres at a heavily reduced price.
“For us, getting more people to try snowsports for the first time is a great way to build momentum ahead of the next Winter Olympics, which is now only a few months away.”
