20-year old Luca was the fastest of the British  racers and just missed out on a second run.

With a start bib number of 62 he finished 34th.

“Massive result for Luca and this will go a long way for his confidence and shows just what he is capable of,” said his father, Phil Smith, to PlanetSKI.

“In his 5th World Cup race he came of age and was only 0.12 seconds off qualification and it showed his potential.”
