Mammoth will be open at least until the end of May and is hoping to go into June. A-Basin is the final resort in Colorado to close after a poor winter for snow in the state.
Mammoth Mountain will continue snowboard and ski operations through to May 31st, the resort has announced.
It follows a good spring with further snowfall.
“We are so stoked to announce we are extending the season for you to soak up more spring laps,” an Instagram post stated.
“With coverage holding up great on the upper mountain, we are going to keep the lifts spinning daily for skiing & riding through May 31.”
Starting on May 26, the Broadway Express, Face Lift Express, and Chair 23 will spin daily from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Main Lodge will be open for food and beverage, rentals, repairs, and lessons.
On May 22nd Mammoth will open its bike park and golf courses offering a unique spring experience.
In Colorado A-Basin wound up proceedings last weekend.
