GB Cross Country & Telemark Squads Selected for Next Season

GB Snowsport has confirmed the selection of thirteen World Cup squad athletes to compete in Nordic and Telemark competitions through the 2026/27 season. NEW
Seven athletes are named to the largest ever British Nordic World Cup squad, including four Milan-Cortina Olympic Winter Games athletes.
Six are selected to Telemark World Cup squad, including Britain’s most successful ever FIS athlete, Jaz Taylor.
Meanwhile, the longstanding Freeski World Cup squad skier, James Pouch, has announced his retirement

Last year’s World Cup squad have all been selected:

- Andrew Musgrave
- Andrew Young

They will be joined by Anna Pryce, Tabitha Williams and Amelia Wells in a seven-athlete World Cup squad.
Pryce and Williams both made their World Cup debuts for Britain last season delivering a succession of impressive performances as Britain re-established itself in the Women’s Nordic World Cup circuit.
Wells joins the team from the Canadian system where she made her own World Cup debut in 2023.
A four-athlete Continental Cup squad sees Beinn Horsfall return from last season’s selections,.
He is joined by Thomas Duncan (promoted from Performance Squad), Oliver Sweetman (transfer from Norwegian system), and Ida-Marie Ewald (previously a 2021/22 season Junior Squad selection).
Eight athletes have been selected for the Performance Squad, including professional cyclist Annabel Fisher who is selected into a GB Snowsport squad for the first time.
Three have been named in the Junior Squad.
The team will continue to compete on the World Cup circuit as members of Team Aker Daehlie as the relationship with the pro team continues into a fifth season.
Jaz Taylor headlines six-athlete Telemark World Cup squad
Following a season that yielded twelve Telemark World Cup podiums, all for Jasmin Taylor, the team will see Britain’s most successful ever FIS World Cup athlete continue her career.

She is alongside five World Cup athletes:
- Timote Gough
- Matthew Deane
- Callum Ogelman
- Hamish Ross
- Colin Dixon
Also confirmed for selection are six Development Team athletes, with Georgiana Altham, Vilma Bkork-Mann (also a 2026 season World Cup debutant), James Dykes, Joshua Wisbey, and Charles White all confirmed for selection.
The selection processes were all undertaken in spring 2026 and have seen the Telemark team confirm that they will continue to monitor the developments of a number of promising Telemark skiers with a view to future integration into GB Snowsport squads.
Longstanding Freeski World Cup squad member, James Pouch, announces retirement
James Pouch, one of Britain’s longest standing Park & Pipe World Cup skiers, has announced his decision to retire from competition ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The 2025/26 season saw James record six World Cup results including two Big Air top 30s in Steamboat in December 2025, where he came 24th, and Tignes in March where he finished in 29th place.
“It’s been an incredible time skiing with the team over the years,” said James.
“I’ve seen parts of the world that I otherwise wouldn’t have, met amazing people, and been able to compete with the best skiers out there.
“I’ve had such a blast travelling, training, competing, and just spending time with the Park & Pipe squad.
“Freeskiing is in a great place right now and I feel really honoured and fortunate to have been a part of the scene for all this time.
