Iglu Ski Raises £700 for Disability Snowsport UK

Last weekend a team from Iglu Ski took part in the 10th Superheroes Triathlon to raise money for the ski company’s chosen charity, Disability Snowsport UK. NEW
Last weekend a team from Iglu Ski took part in the 10th Superheroes Triathlon to raise money for its their chosen charity, Disability Snowsport UK.
In total, the team raised in excess of £700.
This means 15 disabled adults or children can learn to ski at an indoor slope in the UK, bringing life-changing confidence, freedom and fun.

The Iglu Team, comprised Iglu Ski Managing Director Simon McIntyre, along with his family, and Jeanette Chippington OBE, one of Team GB’s most successful ever Paralympians.
They took part in their Superhero mission, perfectly dressed in superhero costumes.

“I just couldn’t resist joining in the Superhero fun at Dorney Lake this year,” said Simon McIntyre.
“It’s such a privilege to raise money for adaptive skiing and snowboarding, and I hope we can do it all again next year.”

“The money you’ve raised will help Disability Snowsport UK continue creating opportunities for disabled children and adults to experience the freedom, confidence and community that adaptive skiing and snowboarding can bring,” said the Fundraising Officer at Disability Snowsport UK, Fay Strathmerren.
