Montgenevre to Host Freeride in the 2030 Winter Olympics

There has been much debate about where it would be held. PlanetSKI can reveal it will be Montgenevre in the southern French Alps. NEW

Val Thorens already hosts an edition of the Freeride World Tour and event has taken place previously in Tignes and Chamonix.

Some would have wanted to see it in the legendary freeride resort of  La Grave.

The Organising Committee of France 2030 had already specified that new sports would need to be in the southern sector.

PlanetSKI was told the choice in an interview we have just conducted the the CEO of the FIS Freeride World Tour, Nicolas Hale-Woods.
