Mountain Environment Event at London’s Royal Geographical Society

The Outdoor Industries Association (OIA) and Protect Our Winters UK (POW UK), in partnership with SIGB, are bringing The People’s Emergency Briefing to London’s Royal Geographical Society on Wednesday 25 November 2026.

This free event will feature a screening of the powerful 50-minute documentary, presented by Chris Packham.

It brings together leading UK experts to explore the impact of the climate and nature crisis on our health, economy, food systems and everyday lives.

Plus, the actions we can still take to address these challenges.

Following the screening, a panel discussion featuring representatives from OIA, POW UK, outdoor athletes and the wider climate community.

It will explore what these issues mean for the outdoor industry and the role our sector can play in driving positive change.
