Jaz Taylor and Mia Brookes have taken podium places in Telemark World Cup and X Games competitions. Jaz Taylor has another gold and Mia Brookes has won a silver and a bronze.
Jaz Taylor
Taylor’s victory in the Melchsee-Frutt Parallel Sprint World Cup marked her seventh consecutive World Cup podium.
It’s her third victory of the season, as she saw off the challenges of Argeline Tan Bouquet and Augustine Carliez, both of France, in second and third respectively.
“It’s so intense racing head to head and the great thing about it is when you cross the finish line ahead, knowing you’ve won, it’s just the best feeling,” said Jaz.
“Thank you to everyone making this possible!”
Taylor’s result strengthens her lead at the top of the overall Telemark standings, as she looks to defend the Crystal Globe that she secured last year.
Full podium: 1. Jaz Taylor (GBR) – 2. Argeline Tan Bouquet (FRA) – 3. Augustine Carliez (FRA)
Mia Brookes
Mia Brookes finished in third place in Aspen in her defence of the X Games Snowboard Slopestyle title that she secured last year and went on to take silver in the Knuckle Huck.

She finished fourth in the previous night’s Big Air contest.
Sitting in first place after the playoff heat in slopestyle, the finals saw some of the highest quality women’s slopestyle snowboarding ever recorded in competition.
Brookes secured third behind Zoi Sadowski-Synott and Kokomo Murase, having gone down attempting a gold-medal challenging run at her final attempt.
Full podium: 1. Zoi Sadowski-Synott (NZL) – 2. Kokomo Murase (JPN) – 3. Mia Brookes (GBR)
GB’s other competitor at the X Games, Zoe Atkin, finished fourth in the Women’s Ski Superpipe.
