Further Snow Falls in Australia

Snow is falling in resorts in Australia with South America getting off to a good start to winter. Check out the conditions in the southern hemisphere. UPDATED
Falls Creek in the state of Victoria claims to have the most terrain open and has seen fresh snow.

Here’s the latest from Hotham in Victoria where there has also been some fresh snow.
Further north in New South Wales it’s looking good in Thredbo.
In New Zealand there’s been snowfall too with resorts opening more terrain.

Cardrona on the south island has opened its new Soho Basin area last weekend and it has now seen around 20cm of fresh snow.
“This is such a huge milestone for the Aotearoa ski industry,” said Laura Hedley, Chief Mountains Officer for Cardrona and Treble Cone.
“To get this lift and terrain open, after decades of dreaming of what could be… it’s a pretty emotional moment for our entire team.”
In South America Chile has had the best of the snow with Valle Nevado reporting 100% of its terrain open for several weeks.
Resorts in Argentina has seen further snowfalls after a generally slow start to winter.
