Eurostar Snow Tickets Go On Sale

Tickets to the French Alps for next season have gone on sale with a limited number of seats available. The timetable has been criticised as it is reduced and only runs for the first half of the ski season from December to February. NEW

The journey starts at London St Pancras with a change in Lille, and it then stops at several stations in the French Alps.

  • Chambéry
  • Albertville
  • Moûtiers
  • Aime-La-Plagne
  • Landry
  • Bourg-Saint-Maurice

It gives access to multiple resorts:

The cheapest one-way ticket is £99, with a return ticket at busy times of the season costing  several hundred pounds depending on the date.

It is running for just half the ski season in 2026/27.

This winter it stops the service on February 20th, a full month earlier than last winter.

The first outbound Eurostar Snow service is Saturday 19th December 2026, with the final return service on Sunday 28th February 2027.

Outbound journeys: Every Saturday between 19th December 2026 – 20th February 2027

Return journeys: Every Sunday between 27th December 2026 – 28th February 2027

Additional Saturday return services (i.e. inbound journeys): 26th December, 2nd January, 9th January, 20th February and 27th February.

“That means that it isn’t running in March or April, which is simply nuts,” said Daniel Elkan from the specialist train-to-the-Alps website, SnowCarbon.

“Last winter Eurostar Snow ran in March. Why have they shorted the season? Nature hasn’t, yet.”

“What Eurostar seem to have done is taken a real step backwards.

“No Eurostar Snow in March, and inbound Saturday journey only on some dates.

“Eurostar seems to be treating skiers as an afterthought.

“Eurostar should be venerating skiers and expanding services., not doing the bare minimum and paring back services.”

Eurostar says that “across both travel classes, passengers can enjoy spacious seating, free Wi-Fi, flexible ticket exchange options and access to the Eurostar Café for drinks and snacks.

“Travellers can choose between Eurostar Standard and Eurostar Plus, with one-way fares from £99.”

Eurostar Snow tickets can be booked via the Eurostar app, eurostar.com, authorised travel agents or by telephone on +44 (0)3432 186 186.
