Ice Skating in Innsbruck This Winter

Ice Magic is a new skating experience that runs from 12 November 2026 to 21 February 2027 at Landhausplatz and Bozner Platz in the heart of Innsbruck.

Instead of a conventional ice rink, the “Skate-Way” concept features sweeping ice paths connecting different areas.

Illuminated pathways, light installations and façade projections will create a particularly atmospheric experience in the evenings.

Plans include ice disco nights as well as DJ and themed events.

Bozner Platz will also feature an additional ice rink and an area for traditional curling.

There is also se to be ice skating at Rangger Köpfl in the Innsbruck Region this winter

An ice rink will be created at the Stiglreith mountain station.

Ice skate hire, a refurbished refreshment area and evening opening hours make this an attractive winter activity away from the ski slopes.
