Poor Domestic Ticket Sales for 2026 Winter Olympics

Domestic interest is well below expectations and a local market that is still not responding at the required pace according to media reports.

Just over 850,000 tickets have been sold so far of 1.5m that are available.

“That’s normal, local fans get interested closer to the date”, said the Chief Executive of the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, Andrea Varnier.

International tickets sales are said to be nearer to predictions.
