GB Alpine Squads Announced

GB Snowsport names 33 athletes, including six for the World Cup squad. There are familiar faces and some new ones.
With the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics taking place next February and improving results for the GB alpine skiers, the squad selection has been unveiled.
World Cup Squad
- Dave Ryding
- Laurie Taylor
- Billy Major
- Reece Bell
- Victoria Palla
- Roy Steudle
Dave Ryding leads the way in what will be his last racing season.
He is joined by Billy Major and Laurie Taylor who both achieved top ten finishes last season.

The new kids on the block in the World Cup squad are Reece Bell and Victoria Palla in the women’s team.
Bell camed 20th and Palla 23rd at last season’s World Championships.
Their performances show strong potential and they are seen as the future of British women’s slalom.
Roy Steudle joins the men’s team.
He is GB’s top-ranked speed skier.
Steudle finished in the top 30 in the Saalbach World Championships super-G and narrowly missed scoring points in Kitzbühel.

Eyes will be focused on The Carrick-Smith brothers – Luca, Freddy, and Zak.
They return to the Europa Cup squad with high expectations and momentum after standout junior results.
Molly Butler, at 18 years old, is seen as a rising talent with long-term promise.
