If you are driving from Calgary airport to go skiing from Banff it is the first big peak you will see.

You have arrived in the Canadian Rockies.

“It’s a 5-hour round trip hike in the summer to reach the summit and though there a few knee trembling moments there are chains to hang on to and all you need to do is tread firmly and calmly,” said PlanetSKI’s chief North America reporter, Alex Cove.

“Once at the top this is your reward.”
