“Snowsports are a multi- generational activity and we want to show and reflect that,” said Ed.
“Snow Globe will be entertaining and informative that puts an arm round the whole experience.”
“It’s all about telling stories and we’re going to blast round the mountains and have fun,”said Tim.

It comes following the axing of Ski Sunday by the BBC.
The pair saw the end of the programme coming some time ago and started making their own plans.
The other co-presenter of the programme, Chemmy Alcott, held discussions with the pair at an early stage but Ed said that she wanted to concentrate on alpine while Ed & Tim prefer freestyle and freeride.
Chemmy also has plans and she’ll be unveiling them to PlanetSKI when they are finalised.
“Chemmy’s amazing and she’ll be absolutely fine,” said Tim.
“Chemmy has better connections than us, but without the visibility that Ski Sunday provided it could be a hard time for alpine,” added Ed.
Ed also revealed what he thought of the actions on the BBC.
“I have an immense amount of sympathy for the BBC,” he said.
“£500m has to be cut and there is no room for sentimentality.
“Terrestrial coverage is falling away.
“BBC2 has a remit to provide coverage for niche communities and we know that audience is there.
“I don’t think I’ll be working for the BBC on the 2030 Winter Olympics in France as I can’t do the BBC and Snow Globe,” added Ed
“I’m not saying ‘no’ to the Olympics,” said Tim.

The big question is “Will Snow Globe succeed?”.
It would appear that there is a market for a snowsports magazine programme if the huge reaction to the demised of Ski Sunday is anything to go by.
“The response of the British ski community was gigantic,” said Ed.
An online petition gathered more than 26,000 signatures in a matter of weeks.
PlanetSKI’s reports at the time had tens of thousands of views and a couple of videos with Chemmy had more than 150,000 views on Instagram.
But producing a show week after week with full production costs is not easy.
The production company, rethinkaudio, is involved in Snow Globe.
The Sud Tirol in Italy is sponsoring three episodes and Ed and Tim will travel to South Tyrol to film three episodes in the destination, featuring celebrity guests and local heroes while exploring the region’s celebrated slopes, gastronomy, culture and hospitality.
Snow Globe will rely on an advertiser-driven funding model.
Heidi is one such brand involved and others will follow if it grows an audience.
The Snowboard Asylum and Salomon are supporting the project.
Growing an audience that becomes engaged and returns, week after week then month after month will be the key to success.
It is a very competitive media world.
